THE FIRST 10 DAYS ZULHIJJA

The first ten days of Zulhijja, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar, are highly
revered in Islam. These days hold
significant spiritual and practical benefits
for Muslims worldwide.

1. *Enhanced Spiritual Rewards*: Acts of worship and good deeds performed during these days are immensely rewarding.
According to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), no days are more beloved to Allah for righteous deeds than these ten days.

2. *Opportunity for Hajj*: The pilgrimage to Mecca, one of the Five Pillars of Islam,
takes place during Zulhijja. Those who
perform Hajj gain immense spiritual
benefits, including forgiveness of sins and a fresh start.

3. *Day of Arafah*: The 9th day of
Zulhijja, known as the Day of Arafah, is
particularly significant. Fasting on this day
is believed to expiate sins of the past and
the coming year, providing a chance for
spiritual renewal.

4. *Increased Charity*: Muslims are
encouraged to engage in charitable
activities during these days. This practice
helps in alleviating poverty and fostering a sense of community and empathy.

5. *Eid al-Adha*: Celebrated on the 10th day, Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice,
commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's
devotion. It involves special prayers, feasts, and the act of Qurbani (sacrifice),
symbolizing faith and obedience to Allah.

In essence, the first ten days of Zulhijja
offer a period of profound spiritual enhancement, communal harmony, and personal
reflection for Muslims.
