Did Not Miss It
Earlier this evening, I decided to attend a midnight prayer. It had been a long day, and I was struggling to stay awake as the clock ticked closer to midnight. I found it hard to muster the strength to concentrate. I kept dozing off and losing focus. It was a battle to keep my eyes open.
However, at one point, something surreal happened. A strange sensation washed over me, and I felt the overwhelming presence of God. Suddenly, I was filled with a newfound energy and vibrancy. It was as if a surge of divine power had awakened my spirit.
Buoyed by this spiritual awakening, I managed to stay alert and attentive throughout the prayers until about 12:15. It was then that I realized it was almost 1 am, and I hadn't yet completed my ritual of publishing a short story version on mindviewers.
So, I sought quick permission and here I am, writing this story. Thankful for that powerful moment during the midnight prayer that reinvigorated my spirit and allowed me to fulfill my commitment.
