What you should know as a new writer

What you should know as a new writer
Who is a newbie?
Newbies refers to individuals who are new or inexperienced in a particular activity or field. In the writing context, newbies are those who just started their writing journey and may not have the basic knowledge and experience of writing. They are at the beginning stages of learning and developing their writing craft.

Things you should know as a newbie.

1. Purpose of writing
As a newbie, you should know the reason behind your writing. You should be able to ask yourself certain questions like: Am I writing to entertain myself? Are they value in what am writing? Etc. While writing, you should ask yourself the following questions: why am I writing? What am I
Writing and Whom am I writing to? I call them the 3Ws.

Niche Discovery.
This is another factor newbies do not know. Niche is an area of specialization. Before you start your journey as a writer, you should be able to discover your niche. You don't just write on any topic in a particular field today and tomorrow you Change to another. Discover your Niche first, before writing.

Research
As a newbie, who wants to make a great impact in the writing industry, you must learn the act of research. Before you write on anything, do proper research because what you want to write, someone has written something on it before. The research will review to you, what others have said concerning that topic first before you add what you understand to it.

Reading
As a newbie, keep in mind that, you do not give the knowledge, you don't have. Invest in yourself through reading. When you read often, it equips you for better today and tomorrow. Sort for information within and outside your field. Keep in mind that readers are leaders.

Networking
As a newbie, you should know writers who are already existing in your field. Get to know them and connect with them. You connect with them by commenting reasonably on the posts or by collaborating with them when the need arises. Build a relationship that helps and contributes to your growth.

Consistency
I always recommend two things to newbies, Patience and Consistency. As a newbie, you should be patient, as you start your journey as a writer. Low engagement can make you lose interest but be patient and be consistent in writing. Consistently share valuable Content, it is just a matter of time, you will get to your desired place in writing.

Don′t be too friendly in a public transportation.

This is a testimony someone shared in church on Sunday.
According to the testifier, she said this thing happened on Saturday morning, on her way to buy something at the market. Stay with me and read. This is no fiction.

She left her baby at home that morning and left for the market. She entered a mini bus heading to itam market, in uyo.

Inside this bus, she was sitted in the middle roll. The driver and another passenger in front and they were three people at the back too. So, the bus was full.

The three people at the back seat, one lady was with her baby with no baby things, just some months old and the other two were a couple. The lady that was sitting next to her was with baby things but she was not with any baby. Just her and her husband, according to them.

The lady turned to the other woman with the baby, "awwwn, your baby is so beautiful. What a fine girl.. please let me carry her small."

Thinking it was the right thing to do, this lady gave her the baby. On reaching their destination, the other lady refused to give back the baby to the mother, claiming it's her baby.

You know, not to be involved in any case, no one in the bus said anything or maybe, they were chàrmed.

The lady's husband claimed the baby is theirs. They showed everyone they were with baby things. The real mother started crying and shouting, telling people that they are lying. Still, these people refused to give back the baby to her.

They all found their selves at the police station. The driver and everyone that was in that bus. The real mother had to call her husband to come over and he did.

The police asked the thièves, "is your baby a boy or a girl?"
They said their baby is a girl.

They asked the real parents too, they said their baby is a boy.

This babyboy had his hair weaved and that's how God punîshed these thièves. The police ordered that the baby's gender should be revealed.

They untied the baby's diaper and behold, the baby had a pènis.

Everyone were in shock at how they were played by these thièves.

They were bèaten and lôcked up in the cell.

According to them, they have used that means to take away more than 18 babies from their parents and sold them.

God came through for that family. ❤️

How my we survive

How we survive in this world is actually a miracle. We are a family of ten. six girls and two boys including our parents, we came to earth thinking it will be a bed of roses for us but life gave it a different turn around.
After graduating from secondary school we hard no hope to further, but going to school was what we always dream of.l wanted to be and engineer but due to lack of funds I went and acquire a fashion skill,my siblings also delved into learning skills like, graphics, hair dressing, makeup, and lots more,my parents were basically farmers,so the sold so food crops to pay for our skill acquisition. We also help them by selling buns, pancakes and soft drinks to help lift some burden from our parents.
Life was not easy but with the skill we had we were able to live a better life independently. And that made us a happy family, Get a skill if you can't further now, don't waste your time cos time is not waiting for any one.
