Maya′s The Dreama

Maya′s The Dreama
Once upon a time, in a small village embraced by poverty and sorrow, lived a young girl named Maya. She was a ray of sunshine in the midst of dark clouds, with dreams shining bright in her eyes. Maya's parents, kind-hearted but burdened with the weight of destitution, could barely make ends meet. Despite their struggles, they were a close-knit family, always finding solace in love.

Tragedy struck their humble abode when Maya's mother fell ill. The once vibrant woman with a heart full of warmth became a prisoner to her sickness, fading away slowly but surely. Maya's heart broke as she witnessed her mother's pain, feeling helpless yet determined to ease her suffering.

One fateful night, the stars weeping above, Maya's mother took her last breath, leaving a void that could never be filled. The light in Maya's eyes dimmed momentarily, replaced by the weight of sorrow that clung to her fragile shoulders.

In the weeks that followed, Maya's father, overwhelmed with grief, lost himself in his own despair. He stopped believing in the power of dreams, convinced that life had dealt him a cruel hand. Doubt clouded his judgment, and convinced that Maya's would only meet failure.
If she walked on the road people will mock her and her family calling them a coursed family, always making her to cry.
With a heavy heart, Maya watched the days slip away, her dreams fading like the distant echoes of hope. Resilience, however, was woven into the fabric of her being. Refusing to surrender to her father's closed-mindedness, Maya sought a way to forge her own path towards success.
One night as she goes to bed a child appears to her on a dream, looking dirty asking her for food

Determined and unwavering, Maya took to the streets, peddling various goods to earn meager wages. The scorching sun beat down upon her fragile frame, but her spirits remained unbroken. Every penny she earned became a testament to her unwavering determination and the burning fire within her.

"Have no fear mortal, I am one of the gods whom you speak off, and I will make you the king of Ezeudo Kingdom, for Obinna's death, he will die a natural death."

"Okay," Uche said with a smile as he turned his head around the compound trying to see if he could know where the voice was coming from, but it seems whoever spoke to him was talking from above. "he waited for a few minutes and when he realized the voice hasn't reply him back, he concluded the man who owns the voice had left. He went back to his food he was eating with Obinna.

At Somma's Hut:

Obinna meat her on her way to the stream

"Obi mu, the gods of this land choose to favour me by choosing me as the next King to the throne of Ezeudo.

Somma screamed in joy "May the gods be praised."

Somma was alone when she heard a voice.

"Your time on Earth is almost done and your father wants you to return home sooner.

"I know my time on Earth is almost done, but I can't return now, please speak in my favor to the hearings of my father."

"Is it because of the mortal you don't want to come home? Said the voice.

Somma nodded her head,

"You know your father won't approve of this relationship,

"We have to go back, leaving Somma to her own thoughts.

Early the next morning, Somma left with a basket of food for Obinna.

She got to Obinna's hut and saw Uche first, his back was facing her as he was sweeping the compound. "Good morning, Somma greeted. He turned to answered her when she saw a black vulture on his head, it looked purely evil.

"Obimu, you didn't tell me you were coming this morning, Obinna said as he went to kiss her on her forehead.

"I wanted to surprise you, anyway, I cooked this morning and I decided to bring you and your brother some food." Somma said as she handed the basket to Obinna.

Somma smiled a little bit at him Before leaving with Obinna

Somma made sure they were safe before she speaks. "Something seemed odd with your brother."

"Odd? What do you mean by that?" Obinna asked confusedly.

"I am sensing darkness around him, please be very careful whenever you are around him." Somma said in a pleading tone.

Okay, I have heard you."

"You know I can do anything for you Obimu.

Uche was alone in the compound when he senses the presence of someone around him.

"Who is it?"

"It is still I, I came to give you something." The voice said and a bag appear "Sprinkle whatever it is in that bag on his food, and make sure you eat it with him, don't worry, it will not affect you. Make sure, when eating with him, He will die before he is even crown the king." The voice said.

"Thank you, I shall do exactly as you have said."

The people of Ezeudo has been informed about the new king the gods has chosen. They were surprised that the gods had chosen from a poor home.
On the night before the coronation day. Obinna was with Somma in her room, they were laying down on Somma's bamboo bed. She laid her head on his chest as Obinna was blowing his flute.

Ujunwa wasn't around, she was with the women who are preparing the feast for the next day.

Obimu Somma said, ever since that day she saw that vulture, her visions of seeing Obinna now seemed fruitless, she knew something was wrong somewhere but couldn't point out her finger. She was worried and have this feeling that something bad wants to happen.

"Yes obimu, what is it?"

"I have this strange feeling that something bad will happen tomorrow, I am just scared."

"Obimu you worry too much, tomorrow is our big day, so we have every reason to be afraid. But nothing will happen, there is always this fear lingering around us when something big wants to happen." Obinna said trying to ceased her fears.

In the morning
All the villagers has assembled at the big iroko tree in the middle of the Kingdom, which all the late Kings were crowned their new king in front of it.

Obinna and Somma were dressed like king and queen,

Uche too wasn't left out, Obinna made sure his brother was dressed in the same clothes as he.

He started coughing out blood the more, holding his heart, he screamed out in pain and collapsed.

Somma screamed in pure agony as she ran to his side, she did everything within her powers, but Obinna wasn't moving.
Uche cried out in crocodile tears.
Ujunwa cried alongside with her daughter.
Everyone was shocked.
Obinna was gone.

After the burial of Obinna, Somma found out she was pregnant with Obinna's child. She told her mother who was happy at the news.

"At least, he didn't die in vain, he left his seed behind.

Uche became very close to Somma and helped her throughout the eight moons. He thought maybe Somma will fall for him, which didn't happened.

One night, Somma was still in the agony when the voice speaks again.

"Why father, why didn't you tell me that he would die, at least I would have saved him from harm." Somma said in tears.

I can't tell you what happenend

"Your child will be born but am afraid, you won't live to see his first smile. You're coming home sooner than you thought."

On the night of her delivery, Ujunwa was outside the hut hearing the scream of Somma.

Uche was there too, he kept praying to the gods to preserve Somma's life and take her child life away.

Everywhere became calm as the midwife came out with a little bundle in her hands, which she gave to Ujunwa.

"Its a boy." The midwife told Ujunwa.

Taking the child into her arms, she cried. Uche did as if he was happy to see the son.
But Somma couldn't make it, Somma is dead." The midwife broke the sad news.

Holding her grandson, Ujunwa cried.

Uche rushed home that same night to his compound.

"Somma is dead, she is dead." He said to no one.

"I once told you that what makes you think Somma will choose you. You choose her son life over hers."

"What am I going to do? If the Ezemuo get to know that Obinna has a son.

"What of Somma mother

"I will kill her also and her grandson will be taken care by you."

"What should I do to the child once I have him?"

"You make him your slave, the more wicked you're to him, the more you will become the greatest King.

“Forged in Destiny

“Forged in Destiny
In the realm of Eldorion, a kingdom shrouded in mystique, there existed a legendary set of swords, known as the Kingsbane Blades. For centuries, these twin swords had been wielded by the noble rulers of Eldorion, bestowing upon them the strength and wisdom to lead their people.

The last known bearer of the Kingsbane Blades was King Alaric, a wise and just ruler. However, during a fateful battle against a formidable enemy, the swords were lost, disappearing into the shadows of history. With the absence of the Kingsbane Blades, Eldorion fell into a time of turmoil, as contenders vied for the throne, each seeking the elusive swords to legitimize their claim.

Generations passed, and the story of the lost Kingsbane Blades became a tapestry woven with myths and legends. Many embarked on quests to discover the whereabouts of the legendary swords, but all endeavors proved futile.

As the kingdom teetered on the edge of chaos, a humble blacksmith named Ealdred found himself drawn into the enigma of the Kingsbane Blades. In a vivid dream, he saw the swords gleaming in an ancient crypt, guarded by a mythical serpent. Convinced that destiny had chosen him for a greater purpose, Ealdred embarked on a perilous journey to unravel the mystery.

Guided by the whispers of the wind and the tales of old, Ealdred traversed treacherous landscapes and ancient ruins. Along his journey, he encountered allies and adversaries, each with their own motives regarding the Kingsbane Blades. Some sought the swords for power, while others hoped to restore balance to Eldorion.

Ealdred's odyssey led him to the forgotten crypt, hidden deep within the heart of the Whispering Woods. There, he faced the mythical serpent, a guardian tasked with ensuring that only a true and worthy leader could claim the Kingsbane Blades.

In a test of courage and virtue, Ealdred prevailed, earning the right to wield the legendary swords. As he emerged from the crypt, the kingdom of Eldorion was in the throes of conflict, torn between rival factions. Ealdred, now the bearer of the Kingsbane Blades, stepped into the fray.

With each swing of the swords, Ealdred restored order and justice to Eldorion. The legend of the lost Kingsbane Blades came full circle as the humble blacksmith fulfilled his destiny, uniting the kingdom under a banner of peace.

The story of "Forged in Destiny" echoes the timeless theme that greatness can arise from the most unexpected places. It speaks of the transformative power of destiny and the indomitable spirit of those who rise to the occasion, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
