Taking the win home
Two weeks ago, I wrote a story. I thought it was good, but I felt like it wasn't good enough to win the writing competition. I really wanted to win.
The day after the competition, I was a little sad. I didn’t want to check the comments about my story. But then, something wonderful happened. I saw a message from someone who read my story, the main Admin!. He said comforting things and the words made me kind of hopeful. Their words made me smile
After reading that message, I felt inspired to write another story. I wanted to do my best this time. Then, yesterday, I woke up and checked my messages again. Guess what? My story won a prize in the competition. I couldn’t believe it.
I don’t want to talk about how much I won, but it was a good amount! Maybe it was 2 thousand or even 3 thousand. I just feel very, very happy. What matters to me is that people liked my story.
