I had to do something
Yesterday, we had a rather frustrating experience with our electricity supply in the lodge. It was one of those partial contact situations where some rooms had power, while others were left in darkness. The sight of the functioning lights throughout the lodge made me eagerly wait for the caretaker to address the issue, but to my disappointment, he made no effort to rectify it.
Being a girl, I wasn't particularly eager to handle the electrical problem myself. However, as luck would have it, as I was preparing to leave in the evening, I noticed that some rooms still had electricity. It became clear to me that we were dealing with a partial contact situation. It appeared that the caretaker himself had electricity in his own room, which explained his lack of urgency in fixing the problem.
My frustration fueled a newfound determination within me. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I quickly grabbed a pair of pliers and began examining the wires, hoping to find the root of the issue. After a bit of fumbling around, I finally discovered the problem. One phase was disconnected, causing the blackout in certain areas of the lodge.
With a sense of accomplishment, I carefully connected the phase that had been deprived of light and disconnected the one that had been enjoying electricity. The balance was finally restored, and our lodge phase was once again bathed in illumination, while the other part that I disconnected was swimming in darkness, lol.
In the morning, a technician arrived to address the issue. I couldn't help but smile, knowing that I had already resolved a problem and started another one.
