A Trip to whence I came

Surprised by the long queues, I walked down to the last in the line and waited my turn.

I wasn't expecting many people to be traveling today, but what more can I do?
Turn back and head to my student quarters.
Hell no!

The queue was lingering unnecessarily and I was out of standing patience, so I stretched a fold of cash to the attendant and miraculously, she handed me a ticket while others standing before me in the queue watched in awe.

As I embraced the bus allocated to my destination, a warm hug greeted my chest.
Queen is a course mate, a fine one.
I wasn't surprised seeking her there, all students were fighting tooth and nail to escape from school and she was among the lot.

After a little play with the lad and much tussle to pick a slot in one of the bus seats,
I finally secured a space in the front seat, next to the driver.
The journey was smooth and I would love to detail about all I saw about the journey, the masquerades, the policemen, the road blocks, dangerous drifts and many more.
