A Tale of Friendship Turned Foe

Ade and Tunde were inseparable, always seen together while growing up as kids laughing and sharing dreams under the shade of the palm trees.

As time went by, jealousy crept into their friendship. Tunde, feeling overshadowed by Ade's success, started to harbor envy and resentment in his heart. He began to distance himself, refusing to share his dreams and ambitions with Ade anymore.

One day, Tunde saw an opportunity to undermine Ade by spreading malicious rumors about him. He whispered to Ade's acquaintances, "Ade is as unreliable as a wandering bird, he's a betrayer like a man who sneaks off when called upon."

Ade was shocked and hurt by Tunde's betrayal. He couldn't believe that his once dear friend would stoop so low as to spread lies about him. Despite Ade's attempts to reconcile, Tunde remained adamant, fueled by his own insecurities and envy.

Long story made short in the end, their friendship turned to bitterness, and they became sworn enemies. Even to the extent that they could pass each other on the streets with eyes filled with resentment, each carrying the weight of their broken friendship and the betrayal they once inflicted upon each other.
