TOPIC: WHO IS PUSHING YOU?

SCRIPTURE: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When who is pushing you is bigger than what is trying to stop you, your struggle is over.

In one of the days during the course of the construction of the Glory Dome, something interesting happened.

There was a big truck that was being used to carry stones, sand and chippings that got stuck in the mud. This was a twelve-tyre truck.

While stuck there, the more the driver tried to move it, the deeper its tyres sank into the earth.
Every attempt to move it out proved abortive.

To me, that truck would be best described as something that has a title without mantle; or something that has a name without power.

In our quest for solution, we realized that there was a bulldozer working at another section of site. So, they brought the bulldozer to assist this stuck-to-the-earth truck.

When the bulldozer was brought, it just moved the truck effortlessly, and within split seconds, the truck was moved out as if it was never stuck to the earth before.

Beloved, this is the take-home lesson here: when who is pushing you is bigger than what is trying to stop you, your struggle is over. You move with speed when what is pushing you is greater and stronger than what is stopping you.
This is one reason why it is very important to be connected to higher inspiration and higher mantles. Men of impact have unbroken cord with their fathers and mentors. In my own life, God has given me the speed in life and ministry because of my connection to the mantle of my father.

Beloved, connect to a higher mantle and connect properly so you can move speedily in life.

Remember this: When who is pushing you is bigger than what is trying to stop you, your struggle is over.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to be alone so you are not stagnated in life.
2. Make up your mind to connect to your God-ordained spiritual covering.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to connect to my God-ordained spiritual covering and higher mantle that will give me speed in life. Help me to connect properly, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD’S PRESENCE BY GODLY CHARACTER

SCRIPTURE: Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Godly character establishes a person in the Presence of God.

The Scripture reveals that godliness is gainful.
It is true, godliness comes with gain. Godly character comes with profits in life and destiny, both in this world and in the world to come.
1 Timothy 6:6 says,
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

And the gain or profit of godliness is not only to escape hell fire or to make heaven, but also to live profitably on earth.

Now, what is the gain of godliness? Why is godly character gainful?

Godly character attracts the Presence of God, and the Presence of God equals the Anointing.

Psalm 24:3-4 says,
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Godly character attracts the Presence of God and the Presence of God is the anointing.

Godly character establishes a person in the Presence of God. The opposite is very true. Ungodly character disconnects man from the Presence of God.

Isaiah 59:1-2 says,
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

And Habakkuk 1:13 says,
Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Beloved, you need God in your life to succeed on earth, and you need godly character to attract the Presence of God to you.

Therefore, make up your mind to uphold godly character at all times.

Remember this: Godly character establishes a person in the Presence of God.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind never to live without the Presence of God. Covet God’s Presence for your breakthrough and triumph in life.
2. Be determined live and godly and righteous life.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that Your Presence abide with me now and always. I receive the grace to attract Your Presence to my life through godly character, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: LIVING IS SEEDING

SCRIPTURE: For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul. Mark 8:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Life is a seed, and living is seeding. The seed you plant in life today will yield the corresponding harvest in future.

A young man once wanted to marry a young lady many years ago. But while he was yet to pay her bride price, she began to camp with him. Both of them started living together.

So, the lady’s mother called the young man and said, “Please if you want to marry my daughter, marry her the proper way by doing the right thing. Why are you putting shame on me?
Why did you take my daughter away without paying her dowry?”

But the young man was adamant and thought he could do whatever he wanted to do.

The woman became heart-broken and said to the young man and her daughter, “This pain you people are giving me, you will have it multiplied.” The shame that they brought to her so pained her that it led to a heart condition, which eventually led to her death. However, her daughter and this young man never cared to know, so they continued in their lifestyle of cohabitation and immorality.

Three years down the line, every child that they tried to conceive ended in miscarriage. They lost up to five pregnancies in miscarriage.

At the end of the day, the young man said to the lady, “What use is this relationship to me anyway? Your mother is not happy with us, and nothing good is coming out of this marriage. I am not ready to continue with you anymore. Pack your things and get out of my house.”

With so much pain and regret, the lady was driven from the man’s house. She returned to her father’s house to apologise to her mother, only to find out that she had died.

She went to apologise to her father, but he told her, “You caused me so much pain and shame; I have nothing to do with you.”

That was how this lady lost everything she ever had because of sowing the wrong seed with her life. Her immoral lifestyle was a wrong seed that provoked a curse. Thus her sinful relationship produced nothing profitable but sorrow, pain, shame and regrets.

Beloved, you see, life is a seed, and living is seeding. The seed you plant in life today will yield the corresponding harvest in future.

The question is, what seed are you planting with your life today? When you engage in a lifestyle of sin, you are planting a negative seed for your life, and that will put your future in jeopardy. The end result usually is pain, shame, sorrow and regret, like the case of the lady in question. But that shall not be your portion in Jesus' Name.

Remember this: Life is a seed, and living is seeding. The seed you plant in life today will yield the corresponding harvest in future.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Always remember that you are sowing seeds everyday of your life by the way you live.
2. Make up your mind to plant good seeds in life today so you can reap good harvest tomorrow.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from any kind of lifestyle that will bring dishonour to Your Name and destruction to my life. Help me to plant good seeds in life so I can reap good harvest in time and in eternity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: EMBRACING TRUE SUCCESS IN LIFE

SCRIPTURE: Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalms 139:14-16 (NLT).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Success in life is determined by the extent or degree to which you become what God created you to be.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that the schedules or seasons of your life have been planned by God before you were created. The phases and stages of your life were planned before you were born.

This means, your life has been determined and scheduled by God before you were born. God knows the detail of every day of your life before you were born. You are a child of purpose.

It is therefore, important to understand that success in life is not dependent on how many degrees or cars a person has; it is not even a question of how much money one has in one’s bank account or the number of countries of the world one has travelled to. Those are not the measures of true success.

Rather, your success in life is determined by the extent or degree to which you become what God created you to be.
Success in life is determined by the extent to which you become what you were created by God to be. True success is determined by the extent to which you are able to fulfil your God-given purpose on earth.

You see, there are many things people call success that is failure in the Eyes of God. Success in the wrong direction or endeavour equals total failure. Success in the wrong thing equals total failure. And there are many people who ended their life’s journey on earth as successful people in the eyes of men, but in the eyes of God, they failed woefully.

The Scripture reveals that David served God by the will of God in his generation, and then he slept with his fathers (Act 13:36).

Serving according to God’s Will is true success. Investing your life in doing the Will of God is true success.

My counsel is, make up your mind to pursue true success, which is fulfilling God’s Purpose for your life.

Remember this: Success in life is determined by the extent or degree to which you become what God created you to be.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to pursue God’s Purpose for your life.
2. Refuse to measure your success in life by false standards or parameters.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to understand and fulfil the purpose and implication of my existence. Help me never to pursue the mundane things of life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: RELEASING YOUR “METHUSELAH” SO YOU CAN WALK WITH GOD

SCRIPTURE: And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: Genesis 5:21-22.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anything in you that will hinder your walk with God is your “Methuselah”.

Enoch was a notable figure in Scripture who walked with God. He was so dedicated to walking with God that God took him to heaven bodily. He never tasted death. His walk with God is worthy of emulation.

Now, one thing is important to note about Enoch’s walk with God.
Genesis 5:21-22 says.

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Please take note of: … And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah …

This means, Enoch’s walk with God started after he begat Methuselah. As long as Methuselah was in the loins of Enoch, walking with God was not possible. But when he released Methuselah out of himself, he began to walk with God.

This means, anything in you that will hinder your walk with God is your “Methuselah”.

Your “Methuselah” may be an ungodly lifestyle. It may be talkativeness, lying, cheating, lust, greed, deception, fraud, bitterness, un-forgiveness, pride, or arrogance.

Beloved, what is that “Methuselah” in your life that is hindering you from walking with God? What is that ungodly lifestyle that is resisting your walk with God? You must identify it and deal with it. Until you release your “Methuselah”, you cannot walk with God.

Make up your mind to release your “Methuselah” so you can walk with God.

Remember this: Anything in you that will hinder your walk with God is your “Methuselah”.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Examine yourself and ask yourself these questions: What is the “Methuselah” in my life?
2. Make up your mind to repent where necessary and adjust your life so you can walk uprightly with God.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You kill every “Methuselah” in my life that is hindering me from walking with You. Sanctify me and draw me closer to Your Presence Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: YOUR WORD AND YOUR OUTCOME IN LIFE

SCRIPTURE: But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matthew 12:36-38.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your liberty or captivity in life is at the mercy of your words.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that words, particularly our own words, bring liberty or captivity.

Your liberty or captivity in life is at the mercy of your words. You are either a victim or a victor in life by your word.
You can use your word to determine your outcome in life.

Abraham is one man who used his word to determine his outcome.

God told him to sacrifice his son, Isaac on the mountain, and Abraham determined the outcome of the whole adventure before he left.

Genesis 22:5 says,
And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

Did you see that?
What Abraham told the servants was, “My son Isaac and I are going up to worship the LORD and do the sacrifice God said, but both of us would return.”

Abraham must have reasoned and said to himself, “I will not disobey God. He said I should offer my son as sacrifice. I will offer him.
I will tie him. I will burn him. I will set him ablaze but one thing I am sure of is, I am not coming back alone. I will come back with him. This is because God told me that in Isaac shall my seed be called. And this is that Isaac. I am going to give God the Isaac, but out of the ashes, Isaac would resurrect and I would return with Isaac.”

So, from that death, he received him in a figure.
Even though God had concluded that he had sacrificed Isaac; Abraham still received Isaac back in a figure.
Thus Abraham determined his outcome by his words.

Beloved, you can also determine the outcome of your life by your word. Do not confess your situation; confess your revelation from the Word of God, and your revelation will birth your reality.

Remember this: Your liberty or captivity in life is at the mercy of your words.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Despite your condition, determine the positive outcome of your situation by speaking correctly.
2. Refuse to give up in the face of any temptations, tests and trials.
3. Do not let hard times make you speak hard and negative words.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to determine the positive outcome of my life by the way I speak. Grant me access to the right words, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: BEING FAITHFUL AT THE CURRENT LEVEL

SCRIPTURE: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One reason for stagnation in life is the failure to stay faithful at one’s current level.

It has been confirmed that progress in life requires consistency and faithfulness. One reason for stagnation in life is failure to stay faithful at one’s current level.
Luke 16:10 says,
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
Faithfulness at your current level is a qualification for promotion to the next level.

Right from the time I was a student of Medicine on campus, God has helped me to see healing miracles. I saw deaf ears open and tumours disappear while on campus as a student.

But at some point, for a long time, I saw only one category of healing. It looked like the other kinds of healing were not happening. And I asked, “Oh Lord, what do I do? Why do I see only one kind of healing happening through me?”
Then He said, “Amplify the one that is working.”

That means: if for example, it is only people with headache that are getting healed when you pray, anywhere you arrive, just ask, “Is there anyone with headache here?”
As I did that, many persons with headache would line up and get healed.

And then from the healing of people with headache, I began to see other kinds of healing.

After sometime, God began to heal people with other kinds of affliction when I prayed for them.

Now, apart from people being healed of diverse afflictions physically, what God is doing is healing people, even in the realm of the spirit. People would see us in their dreams, and then wake up to see that they have been healed of cancer, blindness, madness and all manner of afflictions.

The truth is, if you maintain faithfulness at your current level, giving your best to the task at hand, you are qualified for promotion to the next.

My counsel is, if you are yet to see what you expect, be brutally faithful in what you are doing currently. Just give that task all that you have got, and God will take you to the next level.

Remember this: One reason for stagnation in life is failure to stay faithful at one’s current level.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to be faithful in all you do.
2. Keep doing what you do despite your results.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive a fresh baptism of faithfulness and dedication to my assignment. Help me to keep doing what You have committed to my hands to do faithfully, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: GOD’S PRESENCE AND DESTINY FULFILMENT

SCRIPTURE: And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The force of Divine Presence is one force that is responsible for the fulfilment of destiny.

The Scripture reveals that the force of Divine Presence is one force that is responsible for the fulfilment of destiny.
Concerning Joseph, a man that fulfilled God’s Purpose for his life, Genesis 39:2 says,
And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

The Presence of God is a potent force for destiny fulfilment. The more time you spend with God, the more like Him you become; and the more like Him you become, the more of your destiny you fulfil.

Divine Presence, in this context, refers to the feelable, palpable, tangible Presence of God. When you are clothed with Divine Presence and you walk into a place, people would feel God around you. When people hear your voice, they hear God in your voice. People are reminded about God when they encounter you.
Not many people carry the Presence of God in this generation. What many people have is shouts, gimmicks, and rhetoric, but the Presence of God is scarce.

Please note that the Presence of God is the fragrance of favour. The Presence of God triggers the release of potentials. The Presence of God is key to open doors and access to power.

What is my counsel to you? Make up your mind to be a carrier of the Presence of God like Joseph. Give yourself to consistent prayer and the Study of the Word.

Maintain a lifestyle of holiness and consecration so you can attract God to your life. And when God is attracted to you, you can fulfil your destiny.

Remember this: The force of Divine Presence is one force that is responsible for the fulfilment of destiny.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to maintain a lifestyle of holiness to see God in your life.
2. Give yourself to consistent prayer and study of the Word to attract God’s Presence to you.

PRAYER: Lord, I repent from any sin that would keep You away from me. I ask for the grace to maintain a lifestyle of holiness and consecration, so I can attract Your Presence, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: ACCESSING THE REALM OF POSSIBILITIES BY LOVE

SCRIPTURE: And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To walk in love is to walk in the realm of possibilities.

In the days of the healing revival, I heard that Oral Roberts would carry in his hands, a little child who was sick and afflicted, and as he carried this child in his hand to pray, he would ask himself a question like: “If this child were to be my child, how happy would I be to see him in this condition? If this were to be my child, how would I pray for him?”

After thinking that way, he would pray for the child with all the fire and passion he possessed; and the child would be healed. The way he prayed for that child’s healing was the same way he prayed for everyone he had ever prayed for and they received their healings.

Beloved, that was a demonstration of faith powered by love.

This is the same thing God has helped me to do. Many people wonder why I usually pray for people with all the passion I possess. It is because it takes a deep passion and love to pray for people and see results.

Many years ago, there was a man who was afflicted with HIV/AIDS.
When they brought him to me, he was looking like skeleton. On seeing him, compassion for him welled up in me. I practically packed him up with my two hands and commanded that demon of HIV/AIDS to check back to hell. He was healed on the spot.

After two weeks, he drove himself to my house to confirm his healing.

Beloved, there is nothing love cannot do.
Mark 10:27 says,
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

I ask you a question, from Mark 10:27, how many things are possible with God?
All things!
And1John 4:8 says, …God is love.

Now this is the fact: if all things are possible with God, and God is Love, it means all things are possible with love.
Therefore, to walk in love is to walk in the realm of possibilities.

When you begin to love, you step into the realm of all possibilities. Walking in love is walking in the realm of all possibilities.

My counsel is, walk in love and you will walk effortlessly in the realm of all possibilities.
