Discouraging Thoughts

Lately, I saw a video on TikTok that really scared me. It was about a couple who found something dead inside a big yoghurt or maybe juice, I couldn't remember vividly what the brand was. I couldn't believe it, thought all those kind of companies would have their hygiene at its highest. I was so scared that I didn't want to buy yoghurt again.

But tonight, I was really craving the Hollanda yoghurt. My tummy was growling with hunger. I had 1800 Naira saved up, so I thought, "Why not? I need to try it." I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and remembered the video. But I didn't let it stop me. I went to the store and bought a big Hollanda yoghurt.

When I opened it, I was nervous. My heart was beating fast. But I tasted it. And you know what? It was good! Really good! It has always been good if not for that video that almost ruined my love for Hollandia. I was so happy that I could enjoy the yoghurt without finding anything weird inside.

Now, I'm feeling great. My tummy is full, and I'm satisfied. I hope everyone has a good night like me. I'm glad I faced my fear and tried the yoghurt.

There are distant people who are better and more ready to help you than your close friends. Don't loose this kind of people.

Hunting for curtains gone wrong

About a week ago, I went to the market. I had moved to a new place, and my room looked empty. I wanted to buy curtains for my windows. My friend had said to buy thin curtains because they were cheap, but I did not listen. I wanted thick and colorful curtains.

When I reached the market, it was busy. I walked around and saw many shops. The thick curtains looked nice. They had colors like blue, green, and red. I thought they would look great in my room.

I felt happy and asked the price. I thought they would cost about 6,000 or 7,000 naira. But when I asked, the shop owner said the thick curtains cost 25,000 and 50,000 naira. I felt sad. I could not spend that much money on curtains.

I left the shop and started to think. I remembered my friend’s advice about the thin curtains. I walked back to some stalls I had seen before. I looked at the thin curtains and found some nice ones. I picked a few colors I liked.

With my 5,000 or 4,000 naira, I bought some thin curtains. They were not what I had wanted at first, but they looked good. I felt happy as I walked home. Simple curtains could make my room feel warm and nice.

Ceramic Surprise

About four months ago, I had a talk with my dad. We were discussing the new building project he had planned, and somehow it turned into a conversation about my room. My dad said he wouldn’t be putting tiles on the floor, and I thought he was trying to trick me. I argued that having floor tiles would be cool and different. "Why choose the same old styles? Tiles would be fun!" I said.

He smiled, but I could tell he was being a bit sneaky. "Trust me, there won’t be any tiles when you come home from school" he said. I wanted to believe him, but I had a feeling he might be lying.

After our talk, I went about my day, wondering what he would really choose for my room. When the day finally came, my dad gave me the key to my room. I felt excited as I unlocked the door.

When I walked in, I was shocked. The whole floor was covered in beautiful tiles! I couldn’t believe it. My dad actually did it! I had a feeling he was tricking me, but I was so happy. The tiles were exactly what I wanted.

I laughed and danced around my room in excitement. My dad might have played a little trick on me, but he knew I would love it. I realized that sometimes a small surprise can make you really happy.

Nabbed mystery

I saw a crowd of neighbors gathered around something serious. They were shouting angrily at a man who looked scared and on the floor. I pushed my way to the front and found out he was a thief, caught stealing from the shops along the street.

The thief started to explain himself, saying, thaf he didn’t mean to cause trouble, that he used voodoo on the doors to make them open! He could get into the shops and take things without leaving any signs!" His words shocked everyone around.

He went on, saying he had been stealing from shops for weeks without anyone noticing. But that night was different. He didn't know that the shop owner was sleeping inside his shop, and he thought he could sneak in. Instead, he ended up alarming the shop owner wheb he made some sounds on the door, which led to his capture.

The shop owner, still a bit shaken, shared how he woke up to knocking and decided to call for help. How could anyone think they could get away with stealing using voodoo?

Soon, the police came and took the thief away. As the situation calmed down, I realised that I had spent several hours entertaining myself at the scene, I just started a race home and that is the end of my story.

First Trial

So today, I finally got the chance to dive into the story session that I had always visited. A little escape into the world of creativity and imagination. Yet, something was different this time. As I scrolled through the recent entries, I noticed that the story session had been pouring with activity over the last couple of days, there was more good stories too. I couldn’t help but wonder, “Oh, what happened?”

Curiosity pulled me toward the opinion segment of the website. That’s when I stumbled upon a post by the admin, something about “paying Order 3.” I had no idea what that meant, but it intrigued my mind. I couldn't quite remember how I had come across that article again, but the thought lingered with me. Maybe I should give this a shot.

So here I am, sitting down to write my story. There’s a fright in my chest, who knows if people will like my story?. I often found inspiration in the simplest of things, and today was no different. As I penned my thoughts onto the screen, I felt a stirring belief that my story could resonate with someone out there. If I shared my narratives, who knows? Maybe they would make an impact or at the very least, spark a smile.

I really want this to work. I want people to connect with my story, to feel something as they read it. So I'm reaching out, hoping that you, dear readers, will like what I write. It's a small wish, but it's significant for me. Here’s to putting my thoughts into words and sharing them with the world. Let’s see where this journey takes us!
