HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH YOUR FAILURE'S?
Life's journey is not always a smooth one. It's full of ups and downs but how we handle our downs goes a long way in making us better.
As Christians, we also experience this in our daily lives. There is always that prayer that is not answered, that competition that was not won, that want that was never realised.
This would be a clearer illustration.
Simon Peter the fisherman turned disciple of Jesus had a challenge like this. He was an experienced fisherman but there was a night he tried all night and he could not catch any fish despite his expertise. This is the first point to note :
NO MATTER YOUR EXPERTISE YOU WILL NOT ALWAYS WIN.
Peter had toiled the night but he could not make any catch until Jesus stepped in.
The chosen portrayed it better. Peter was in a bad debt and having a good catch meant he would be able to settle his debt. Jesus knew that and gave him a miracle of a good catch.
You might be like fisherman Peter right now. You know you are doing things rightly yet, it is not working. You know you are on the right path.
Why still no catch? you ask yourself
See what the Peter experience taught me
Maybe you don't really need it. You just want it.
Remember Philippians 4 verse 19
He will supply our needs.
That competition you did not win after ensuring you gave your best, was won by the person that needed that win.
That prayer that is unanswered after ensuring that your answers are not held by the prince of Persia is not answered yet because you don't need it.
DISCLAIMER
This is not a reason to be lazy and conclude God does not want to bless me. Do your own part like Peter did and if it's a need. There will be a miracle.
Have you ordered your own copy of Diary of an Abba's girl?
I know you know its value and lesson packed.
Don't be like Ochucko that will be begging on the launch day to buy for 1000 instead of 2000.
Be like Ngozi that has pre ordered already.

See you on top.
