#HOWTOPREPAREFRIEDRICE
Prepare the ingredients:
- Cooked rice (ideally leftover rice from the previous day)
- Protein of your choice (chicken, shrimp, tofu, etc.), diced or sliced
- Vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers, onions, etc.), chopped
- Garlic cloves, minced
- Soy sauce
- Cooking oil
- Eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
- Optional: Green onions for garnish
2. Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add some cooking oil and heat it up.
3. Add the protein (chicken, shrimp, tofu, etc.) to the pan and cook until it is fully cooked and slightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add some more oil if needed, and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Add the chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry until they are slightly tender. You can add them in the order of their cooking time (e.g., carrots first, bell peppers last).
6. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs on the other side. Scramble the eggs and let them cook until they are just set.
7. Mix everything together in the pan, including the cooked protein and the scrambled eggs.
8. Add the cooked rice to the pan and break up any clumps using a spatula. Stir-fry everything together until the rice is heated through and evenly coated with the other ingredients.
9. Season the fried rice with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
10. Continue stir-frying for another minute or two, ensuring that everything is well combined and heated.
11. Remove the pan from the heat and garnish with chopped green onions (optional).
12. Serve the fried rice hot and enjoy!
Remember, the measurements and cooking time may vary based on your personal preferences and the amount of rice you are using. Feel free to add or omit ingredients to suit your taste.
