Testing my Patience

I stumbled upon a disturbing video on my reels today that honestly upset me. It was hard to watch a little kid wreaking havoc in a house while the adults around him tried to pacify him instead of addressing the chaos he was causing. They coddled him, even when they saw the destruction unfolding right under their noses.
I watched in dismay, battling with a mix of emotions. It was frustrating to see such a lack of discipline; the child was smashing things, tossing toys, and struggling to break am installed camera all was in total mess while his parents and guardians scrambled to soothe him as if it were all just a game. I couldn't comprehend why the foreigners are that way?
My patience wore thin, and I felt a surge of anger cooking within me. I couldn't help but wish I was there in that moment, so that I can show the little boy how it is been done in Nigeria, discipline often means more than just gentle words; it's about setting firm boundaries and teaching respect for both people and property.
I could have spared some rod on his body.
