I went for an audition yesterday and the audition was for me to join a church choir and it was very strict like the likes of Nigerian idol, the voice or even project fame. Asides Cooking the other thing I really know how to do well is singing and I wasn't born with it at all I had to always rehearse , learn how to breathe diaphragmatiacally, having a clear tone,pitch perfect and how to carry the audience along. But me with all this sophistication was still very scared and sore afraid of the unknown because we were warned strictly about somethings.i was number 20 on the list of 50 singers I was sweating profusely, because intense fear has covered me but it's something I know how to do very well.They didn't call the number from top, it was something random I was called third and my heart started to pound so so fast I couldn't even give them the name of the song I was to sing I was stuttering so bad it got to the point I started crying I wasn't given the spot not because I wasn't a good singer but I made my fear have a better part of me and I lost it my advice to friends here let that skill that thing you really have knowledge of let it be your courage and strength never be timid again it's for fools.

Something so so shocking happened in my exam hall today we were writing our most tricky course and my school mainly writes CBT exams and they are three categories of students, the first are those kinds of people that will study so hard to pass and the second set will be very nonchalant if they fail of pass they don't give a damn then the last are those that uses the time they are meant to study with and invest it in trying tricky tactics in examination malpractice just to pass.
I got to the hall and I sat down with a lady I don't know her from Adam though , the exam started and everyone were sweating profusely as it was a very hot one then the lady besides me brought by out her phone and started coping so fast and she was spotted by the invigilator and the invigilator asked her to stand up and bring her ID card because she knows fully that the lecture is a devote Muslim she went half baked and the invigilator had to cover his face not to see her as it's a bad thing to do in his religion and the girl ran away. This is my humble humble piece of advice to everyone here never cheat to pass it's by hardwork.

Today started off slow as I woke up and a deep voice in me suggested that I stay back than prepare for classes. I hardly muss classes for any reason, but this day, I succumbed to that lazy voice in my head.

I stayed back and ignored all lectures that were fixed to hold in the morning. Not up to 2 hours later, I started receiving calls that gunshots are been heard all over the school area, was still on the call when the gunshots began close to my hearing, they were shooting sporadically across the streets.

I declared my safety to my parents and friends who called in to check on me, and then I crept back to my bed and dozed.

Waking up now to hear about the scores of the shooters, videos of the incident everywhere and other saddening stories linked with today.
I thanked God for protecting, perhaps I might have been a victim.

So I lost my parents and am Igbo by tribe and from my lineage even all igbos in general when your father or your parents dies his brothers will take up the property of your father and this tragedy be fell us last month and my parents aren't buried yet , but they have started claiming ownership of their property on the day my parents where to be buried something very mystic happened and my father's elder brother started shouting and saying leave me alone so he confessed go he killed my parents. Be very careful too around people in your family not all of them wants your progress.

So today is Sunday I went to church and our Reverend was newly transferred and another was brought to us and this is his first Sunday with us so his liturgy and pattern was so so different that at some point I started to doubt and ask if indeed he was a man of God, when we were giving out our offerings we went out to cast it and he stood by the offering and he will be telling people is this what you want to give to God that you should search your pocket for another money , what Happened today really affected me I ended up not casting my offering. Be mindful of the kind of pastors you submit to.

My very close friend in the hospital had an accidental on Friday she was like everything about the driver was wrong 😑 his face , dressing and out before he moved the vehicle he took dry gin and smoked then he started moving the vehicle at ahigh velocity the vehicle is always jerking and he didn't have proper handling of the steering his both grip were wrongly position in his bid to avert a porthole he entered into a carnal that was what resulted into the casualty.

And then, here was a bang, three bangs actually or should I say 3 knocks?, the solid door shook at each strikes.
They were here the day before to ask of the accumulated electric consumption bill. Politely, they had demanded for the for the fee which I pleaded be extended to a day.
This time, they spat fire.

"Guy!, where your money?"
"I... I..."
I tried to find my words as I opened my door to them.

" you dont have it right?, we gave you 2 days and yet you couldn't conform. Sorry we'll have to disconnect you from the source." One of them said with an indifferent smile on his face.
If he was trying to be friendly, that I didn't understand. But he was going to cut my wire connection, I thought.

20 minute or so afterwards, here I am in the deepest darkness battling with the mosquitoes that have lurked and survived hunger for several nights.
What more can I do?

My Goodness 💙💚 yesterday was the very big day for Nigeria I went to exercise my franchise but the crowd I saw was frightening people were much unlike the erstwhile Nigeria that they don't really come out for elections this one reverse is the case I almost went home from the polling unit but because of my love for Nigeria I stayed and voted I pray for positive outcome. Tension looms APC seems to be coming stronger in the north LP thought they won already there is serious tension right now people are afraid of the outcome they doubted what APC could because of how the imagery of the presidential candidate was shadowed.

It's so disheartening the happenings in Nigeria now I want to go home from school for election break I have searched and searched for where to get cash all was to no avail it keeps getting tough as the day progresses even for short transit there is hike in prices to transit I wrote for Nigeria yesterday I can't even go home to exercise my franchise because the motor park doesn't accept transfers. It will be well with Nigeria.

The condition in Nigeria right now is perilous I stayed in que for two days even having to sleep outside the bank but it's still a dead but a certain good security just picked me up and told them this lady has been hear for days attend to her amidst the whole problems in this country be good and patriotic.

The heat in Nigeria is getting hotter by the day the fuel scarcity, new naira note palava and the incoming election every one is experiencing it very hot please everyone endure this phase in Nigeria I assure us there will be a change keep it up people.
