Being haunted by the dirty things someone did in the past is just the way to describe this story, we have to learn now or we "learn the hard way", according to VeryDarkMan. Just the other day, my neighbor who just signed out from the university, was following up a dispute between her coursemates, which escalated to something, and is still escalating to something bigger. It's just like someone about to receive a crown, but then a coffin of dirty secrets that was buried for years, got exhumed and opened.

My neighbor's coursemate, a girl by name Cynthia, who is pregnant and was supposed to get married to the father of her baby on the 28th of December, 2024, had a little misunderstanding with her fellow female coursemates, they confronted their selves physically and Cynthia slapped one of them. The coursemates, who were once her friends and partners in crime, knew in and out of her and vowed to bring her down with the information they had about her.

The coursemates released stuffs about Cynthia public, with evidence which includes pictures and videos, and also sent them to her husband to be. In Cynthia's past, she has worked as an escort girl, stripper, worked in a prostitution company, has slept with married man, several abortions and has slept with numerous lecturers. Her friends had evidence of the things they presented against her. She was even said to have slept with a lecturer of recent, while preparing for her wedding.

All this were sent to her husband to be, which raised a big question; whether truly the guy is the father of the baby. The guy called off the wedding, and wants to do a DNA test after the child is born, to confirm if it's his. I doubt that Cynthia still sees the sky as blue, it must be looking like black to her. The disgrace is huge, her family is very disappointed, her father even disowned her, people are scared that she might commit suicide.

Wedding that was supposed to happen in less than a month, shattered right before her eyes, everything has crapped on her. She upsetted her friends and they decided to spill her buried secrets and ruin her life, they succeeded. But then I feel that if she was able to open up to the guy before now, and tell him everything, the guy would have forgiven and believe that she has changed. Instead, she still continued in the act while preparing for wedding, see where it's landed her.

We have come to another festive period again, some people have taken it upon themselves, to source for Christmas money anyway they can, not minding if it's legal or not. The rate of activities of thieves this days is increasing rapidly, and if we look deeper, it will be just to impress somebody; girlfriend and fellow friends most especially. My parents called me some days back to tell me what thieves did to them and my aunty, in a short space of time.

My aunty came all the way from Abuja to visit my parents, on arriving the park, she carried big bags, and so she paid this guys with wheelbarrow, that help carry goods, to where she is supposed to board a vehicle. Shockingly, the wheelbarrow transporters zoomed off with the bags and disappeared into the aunty, making away with my aunty stuffs, painful right? In a very crowded place, they moved faster than my aunty and stole away her bags.

My aunty now got to my parents house without anything but her handbag, very awful thing. And when they left for church on a Sunday, a thief broke into the house and stole the TV and some other items. It is now as if this season is the season for thieves. The luck my parents had is that there is an hotel next to the house that has a CCTV camera facing their house, they met the hotel manager and accessed the video recording, and found out who it was.

The thief had sole the TV, the mother begged my parents not to arrest the thief, so the mother had to refund the money back to the person that bought the TV and get it back. Some of the stolen items could not be retrieved, the mother of the guy paid for every single one of them. Just that my parents are not violent, the thief would have been dealt with the normal way people handle them. It's the birth of Jesus Christ we're celebrating, how does stealing fit in? Isn't this season supposed to be about love, peace and reconciliation with God? I tire oh.

My uncle did his traditional marriage last week Thursday, everything went very smooth, just that his committee of friends that came did something I find very funny. My uncle has friends he goes with to clubs, parties, events and drinks with them to the fullest. So they were actually his very close friends that he hangs out with, and on that day, they did to him what he always does with them, especially when they are partying or celebrating; drinking to stupor.

Know or unknown to my uncle, his committee of friends came to his traditional marriage with their own crate of high alcohol drinks, you know that kind of thing na, your tight friend getting married calls for maximum form of celebration. Just as they always do, this people drank and got extremely intoxicated, it's not like they misbehaved openly, just that they became very weak and left where they were seated to ease themselves a bit.

When the traditional marriage was over, and it was time for the committee of friends to help with packing of chairs, and help tidy up some other things, omo they were nowhere to be found, the ones that were found were too intoxicated to be able to do anything. When my uncle searched further, he even found some of them in the nearby bush, some in the vehicle they came with, all intoxicated and sleeping. I laughed so hard, but my uncle was angry.

Even the guy that served as the best man to my uncle in the white wedding was high too, there is really no one to be blamed for this, my uncle is also like his friends. Having friends that you drink to stupor with, and on the day of your wedding, you expect that they won't exhibit the same behavior. But it was embarrassing, my uncle had to do everything by himself when he had friends. I laughed all through, committee of friends turning into committee of Red eyes, no one was useful when needed the most. Like this, I had to go through my list of friends and do some reevaluation, so as not to suffer the same fate.
